Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Studies lessons in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Integrate mindfulness, mentoring, and positive reinforcement into daily classroom routines to support student well-being.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular initiatives and support holistic student growth.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), B.A. (Ed) in English Studies, or a Bachelor's degree in English Language/Literature with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Proven experience teaching English Studies at the primary or secondary school level within Nigeria.
- Strong understanding of modern pedagogical techniques, mindfulness practices, and student mentoring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Current TRCN registration or eligibility is an added advantage.
