About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced English Language Tutor to join our dynamic academic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in identifying learning barriers, understanding them within our context, and helping students overcome them to excel in their English language studies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic performance.
- Identify individual learning needs and implement effective strategies to overcome barriers to learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support overall student development and community success.
- Possess a B.Ed., B.Sc. with a PGDE, or other relevant academic and professional qualifications in English Education or related fields.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable school environment.
- Deep knowledge of English language pedagogy, grammar, literature, and curriculum standards.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
