About the Role
Elevation Professionals, a leading management consultancy and publishing firm registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, is looking to hire a dedicated and knowledgeable English Language Teacher to join its team in Ipaja, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction that helps students build strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.

Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English language lessons in line with the curriculum
- Develop students' proficiency in grammar, comprehension, composition, and oral communication
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress through tests, assignments, and continuous evaluation
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning
- Prepare students adequately for internal and external examinations
- Provide extra academic support to students who require additional guidance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and performance reports
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and management to improve teaching strategies and outcomes
- Enforce classroom discipline and uphold the institution's standards of conduct
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or NCE in English Language, Education, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience is an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
