Key Responsibilities- Teach English Language and Literature in English across junior and senior secondary levels, fully aligned with national curricula.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans covering grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, comprehension, summary writing, and oral English.
- Prepare students rigorously for external examinations including WASSCE, NECO, and BECE through targeted drills and practice tests.
- Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments to track student progress and mastery.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, literacy initiatives, and school-wide academic enrichment programs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in English Language, English Education, or a related discipline.
- Possession of a teaching qualification such as a PGDE and active TRCN registration is a strong advantage.
- Proven professional experience in teaching secondary school English and preparing students for NECO and BECE exams.
- Exceptional command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
