Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in various cyber security domains.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with current industry standards.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career development, and research initiatives.
- Conduct impactful research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Collaborate with industry partners to foster practical learning and internship opportunities for students.
- Possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral registration will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the tertiary level or relevant professional experience in the cyber security industry.
- Strong publication record in academic journals is highly desirable.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent professional credentials is a plus.
