Olivefield Schools Abuja is a premier private educational institution dedicated to providing a holistic learning experience that seamlessly blends conventional Western education with sound Islamic values. We operate a comprehensive dual curriculum combining the NERDC Nigerian standards and the British curriculum across early childhood, primary, and secondary levels. We are currently looking for a passionate, qualified, and values-driven English Language Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective English language and literature lessons in alignment with both the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Plan, prepare, and execute well-structured daily lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback on student progress, assignments, and examinations.
- Mentor and guide students, fostering a positive classroom environment rooted in discipline, respect, and Islamic values.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, school administration, and parents to support holistic student development.
- Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in English Language, Education, or a related field (NCE or PGDE is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge of both the Nigerian NERDC and British curricula for English Language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an engaging teaching style.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding Islamic values, ethics, and moral discipline.
