About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a newly established, world-class institution located along the Lotto/Shimawa Road in Mowe. We pride ourselves on offering spacious, learning-friendly classrooms, advanced science laboratories, and specialized rooms for art, music, and life sciences. Set within a safe and secure environment, our campus features top-tier sports and recreational facilities, including swimming pools, athletics tracks, basketball courts, football pitches, and tennis courts. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Language Teacher to foster a strong command of the English language and inspire a lifelong love for literature among our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language and Literature lessons aligned with international standards.
- Utilize modern ICT tools and interactive technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic excellence.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in English Language or relevant subjects from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a PGDE or Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience within an international school setting.
- Strong familiarity with the IGCSE curriculum is a distinct advantage.
