Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language and Literature lessons to students in accordance with the Nigerian and British curricula.
  • Develop detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to monitor student progress and academic performance.
  • Create an interactive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
  • Evaluate assignments, grade examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents during consultation periods.
  • Mentor and guide students in character development, moral values, and effective communication skills.
  • Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English, or related field with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable nursery, primary, or secondary school.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with a strong command of grammar and literature.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching, patience, and the ability to inspire young learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the capacity to maintain a positive and disciplined learning atmosphere.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in utilizing digital learning tools and educational software.
