Key Responsibilities- Create engaging and informative lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of secondary school students.
- Implement a comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with national and state educational standards.
- Utilize a variety of modern instructional techniques and educational technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor, evaluate, and assess student academic progress, maintaining accurate records of performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Provide regular constructive feedback to students and submit progress reports to the head of the school.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and school leadership to execute school-wide academic initiatives and extracurricular programs.
- Participate actively in professional development sessions to stay updated on best pedagogical practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in English Language, Education, or a closely related field.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven professional experience teaching English within a structured secondary school setting.
- Deep understanding of secondary school curricula and modern instructional methodologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to reside in close proximity to the school location in Okeigbo, Ondo State.
