Key Responsibilities- Teach English Language and English Literature to students in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations using prescribed textbooks and curriculum guidelines.
- Conduct regular grading, constructive marking, and comprehensive mentoring of students to track and improve their academic progress.
- Design engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, effective communication, and a deep appreciation for literature.
- Maintain accurate academic records and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
- Perform all general teaching duties and participate actively in school co-curricular activities.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed), or a Bachelor's degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable nursery, primary, or secondary school environment.
- Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature curricula as well as external examination requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
