Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons tailored to various age groups from nursery to secondary school.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration to develop and improve the English curriculum.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification such as an NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc. (Ed), or equivalent degree in English or related fields.
- Professional certification such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDE) or Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license will be an added advantage.
- Prior teaching experience in a structured school environment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
