Supreme Education Foundation School (SEFS) is a premier private, co-educational day and boarding school located in Magodo G.R.A. Phase 2, Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Educator to join our esteemed academic team and help shape the future of our secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver inspiring and comprehensive English language and literature lessons in accordance with the secondary school curriculum.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to active learning and critical thinking.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and colleagues to discuss student development and support holistic educational goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a closely related academic discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Nigerian and international secondary school curricula.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, lesson delivery, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability in effective classroom management and fostering student engagement.
