About the Role
Catoky International Group of Schools, established in March 1998, is dedicated to providing an all-round, high-standard Christian education that trains pupils in wisdom, knowledge, and character. We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled English/Diction Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Port Harcourt. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' language proficiency, public speaking, and overall academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Diction in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Train students in proper pronunciation, articulation, phonetics, and public speaking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Create a stimulating, disciplined, and interactive Christian learning environment within the classroom.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant teaching experience in English and Diction.
- Strong command of the English Language with exceptional pronunciation and communication skills.
- Possession of relevant educational qualifications (NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in English or related fields).
- Proven ability to engage, motivate, and manage students effectively.
- Applicants must currently reside in Port Harcourt.
