About the Role
The Katsina State Government invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic professionals for the position of Engineer II (Electrical) on Grade Level (GL) 08. Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of electrical engineering projects across Katsina State.
- Conduct routine inspections of public electrical installations, power distribution networks, and facilities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation for state-sponsored initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must be fully registrable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
- Mandatory possession of the NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Applicants must be indigenes of Katsina State and aged between 18 and 49 years.
- Must successfully pass the competitive merit-based recruitment test.
