About the Role
The National Institute for Nigerian Languages (NINLAN), an autonomous inter-university centre under the regulation of the National Universities Commission (NUC), is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Electronics Engineer. In this vital role, you will ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and advancement of our electronic infrastructure, supporting our academic and administrative excellence in Nigerian language studies.
Key Responsibilities- Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic equipment, communication systems, and laboratory devices across the institute.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical faults in hardware and electronic systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all institute electronics and instructional technology infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT and academic departments to upgrade and integrate new technological tools and systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of electronic spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory guidelines during all engineering operations.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated competence, high integrity, and excellent communication skills.
- Strong commitment to the academic and operational objectives of NINLAN.
- Relevant professional certifications and hands-on experience in electronic system maintenance will be an added advantage.
