About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the beverage manufacturing industry in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Energy and Fluid Specialist to join our state-of-the-art brewery. In this vital role, you will lead the process engineering function, optimizing the generation and utilization of all utilities to drive plant performance, process stability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Apply advanced engineering principles to support Brewing and Energy and Fluid (E&F) production teams in achieving optimal plant performance.
- Provide frontline technical support for both situational and systemic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Execute identified process optimization initiatives and comprehensive process capability studies.
- Provide essential design support and actively assist in the execution of regional capital projects.
- Lead small capital investment (CAPIN) projects within the Brewing and E&F plants.
- Mentor, coach, and guide process engineering trainees to foster technical growth.
- Identify and bridge technological gaps within Brewing and E&F operations.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement continuous improvement projects to maximize plant efficiency.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent accredited engineering qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience within a manufacturing, brewing, or process plant environment.
- Deep technical understanding of E&F and brewing plants, process controls, automation, design, and commissioning.
- Strong command of problem-solving techniques and process optimization methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex engineering challenges.
