About the Role
Pestra Limited is a leading value-added distributor of communication, safety, and security solutions committed to delivering cutting-edge technologies across Africa. We are currently seeking highly skilled ELV Solutions Architects to join our growing technical solutions team in Lagos and Abuja. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and support integrated Extra-Low Voltage systems for commercial, government, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects, translating client requirements into practical, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design complete ELV solutions encompassing video surveillance, access control, fire alarms, structured cabling, BMS integration, and data networks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), system architecture diagrams, and compliance documents.
- Conduct thorough site surveys, produce technical reports, and select appropriate technologies and vendor products.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to deliver technical presentations, client demonstrations, and bid clarifications.
- Provide expert technical guidance to installation, commissioning, and support teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Minimum of a B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or ICT.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems, ICT infrastructure, or systems integration, with 2 years focused on solution design and presales engineering.
- Relevant OEM and professional certifications such as CCNA, PMP, Bosch, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls are a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of IP networking, cybersecurity basics, system integration, and tender document preparation.
