About the Role
Pan-Afrique Maritime Limited is a wholly indigenous Nigerian maritime services provider specializing in ship management, manning, and offshore logistics. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join our growing fleet. In this critical role, you will ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all onboard electrical, electronic, and dynamic positioning systems, contributing directly to our high standards of offshore operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems and associated electronics in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all vessel automation, navigation, and communication systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory, electrical stores, and coordinate maintenance schedules with the Chief Engineer and Master.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, environmental regulations, and international maritime standards while executing daily duties.
- Respond promptly to technical emergencies and provide immediate troubleshooting support to minimize vessel downtime.
- Valid STCW III/2 certification (Unlimited).
- Hold a recognized DP Maintenance certificate.
- Minimum of 12 months of rank experience on the same vessel type within the offshore sector.
- Up-to-date mandatory maritime certifications, valid medical fitness certificate, and travel documents.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for offshore teamwork.
