About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading and renowned name in the Nigerian beverage production industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our dynamic operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted, safe, and stable operation of our automated production lines and industrial machinery. We are looking for a hands-on technical professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can deliver excellence in electrical maintenance and engineering support.
Key Responsibilities- Handle all electrical tasks within the beverage production and operations facility, ensuring optimal efficiency.
- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs of electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Independently carry out complex troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments on various electrical panels, motors, and control circuits.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and international electrical safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain detailed logs of electrical maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts inventory.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as an Electrician, preferably within a manufacturing, FMCG, or beverage production environment.
- Poss relevant academic qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related technical field.
- Extensive practical experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and machinery repairs.
- Solid understanding of electrical regulations, safety protocols, and schematic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
