About the Role
Prime Harvest Fertilizers Ltd., Nigeria's second-largest compound fertilizer manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Electrical & Utilities Maintenance Engineer for our expanding facility in Gujungu, Jigawa State. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our factory's electrical, water supply, and utility systems while gradually taking over responsibilities from our expatriate engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot three-phase electrical systems, distribution boards, MCC panels, and motor starters.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on industrial electrical equipment and motors.
- Manage factory and accommodation water supply systems, pumps, plumbing, and sanitary infrastructure.
- Support basic mechanical maintenance including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic pumps.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and collaborate effectively with foreign engineers and suppliers.
- HND or B.Sc. in Electrical, Electrical/Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in three-phase electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and industrial utility management.
- Willingness to reside permanently at our factory location in Gujungu, Jigawa State.
- Prior experience in fertilizer, chemical, cement, or continuous manufacturing plants is a distinct advantage.
