About the Role
Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, a pioneering and leading manufacturer in Nigeria, is seeking a high-performing Electrical Supervisor for Vitapur. In this critical role, you will lead our electrical maintenance team to ensure all production lines operate reliably, safely, and efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new and existing electrical systems and machinery.
- Coordinate both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid-response corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose complex equipment problems and troubleshoot electrical faults across a wide range of industrial manufacturing assets.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of skilled electricians and technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety protocols across all electrical operations.
- Collaborate closely with production and other engineering departments to optimize machine performance and workflow.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
- Professional certifications such as COREN, NSE, or equivalent regulatory bodies will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical troubleshooting, leadership, and computerized maintenance management systems.
