About the Role
SPIE Global Services Energy is looking for a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our workforce on the AKPO project in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Organize on-site electrical maintenance operations and assist planning engineers with resource allocation and scheduling.
- Ensure strict adherence to company HSE regulations, particularly regarding work permits and standard industry practices.
- Manage interventions using CMIMS (SAP/R3) and review all technical and intervention reports.
- Monitor utility functions, troubleshoot critical electrical breakdowns, and lead site emergency response teams.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor multi-national technicians, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Identify recurring corrective maintenance issues, analyze root causes, and propose continuous improvements.
- Higher National Diploma (HND/HNC) or equivalent technical qualification.
- 10 to 15 years of proven maintenance experience in oil and gas production installations.
- Extensive expertise in HV & LV power distribution, motor drives, alternators, inverters, switchgear, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in CMIMS (SAP/R3) software for maintenance management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-cultural teams.
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are an added advantage.
- Physical fitness to work on offshore installations under challenging climatic conditions.
