We are currently looking for a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician I to join our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure the flawless execution of field electrical maintenance, enforce strict safety protocols, and manage contractor activities for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors for lighting, HVAC, and motor maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise third-party contractors to ensure strict adherence to safety standards and intervene immediately during unsafe acts.
  • Participate actively in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors before work commences.
  • Execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance while promptly escalating unresolved issues to the First Line Supervisor.
  • Monitor contractor work quality against Maintenance Procedures and Practices to minimize rework.
  • Provide comprehensive daily progress reports to the maintenance planner and First Line Supervisor.
  • Obtain formal supervisor approval prior to implementing any deviations from approved work plans.
  • Inspect, verify, and formally accept completed electrical maintenance work.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the Nigerian Oil and Gas or heavy industrial sector.
  • Relevant technical certification, trade test, or equivalent professional engineering experience.
  • Solid understanding of electrical isolation protocols and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and field reporting skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage heavy workloads, and adapt to shifting operational priorities.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite for daily reporting and tracking.
