Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, including associated cabling and tubing.
- Troubleshoot complex system faults efficiently using engineering drawings, specialized test instruments, and approved industry procedures.
- Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance while accurately documenting all completed work.
- Verify equipment installations against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and strict manufacturer requirements.
- Support rigorous testing, loop checks, system commissioning, and functional verification activities where applicable.
- Apply strict electrical isolation, permit-to-work protocols, and hazardous-area controls to maintain a safe working environment.
- Possess a relevant degree, HND, OND, trade test qualification, or a recognized professional certification in electrical or instrumentation engineering.
- Demonstrated practical experience in industrial maintenance, construction, oil and gas, marine, or large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and complex instrument drawings.
- Solid competence in electrical safety standards, testing procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Willingness to acquire role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, or safety certifications as required by clients and site standards.
