About the Role
Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group is a globally respected conglomerate with a strong presence in Nigeria, focusing on highly competitive and growth-intensive sectors including culinary, condiments, and packaged foods. We are looking for a dedicated Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation professional to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support system engineering operations by designing, planning, developing, scheduling, installing, and analyzing electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Supervise the maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair of electronic instrumentation, metering devices, electrical equipment, and process control computers.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment problems, perform rigorous system tests, and resolve operational challenges with limited standardization.
- Formulate and document high-level strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data privacy compliance, maintaining absolute confidentiality and obtaining proper consent during data collection and processing.
- Hold an OND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on working experience within the electrical and automation industries.
- Demonstrate versatility and proficiency with PLC systems (such as Siemens and Allen Bradley) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
- Exhibit strong project management skills with the ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills to translate project requirements into functional hardware designs.
