About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Technician I to join our team and support critical field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation procedures, and contractor supervision for lighting, air-conditioning, motor maintenance, and related operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors with appropriate oversight
  • Supervise contractors on-site and immediately intervene in unsafe acts to maintain safety standards
  • Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors prior to work commencement
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance work starts promptly and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors
  • Monitor contractor work quality and ensure strict compliance with Maintenance Procedures and Practices (MPP)
  • Provide daily progress updates to First Line Supervisor (FLS) and Planner
  • Obtain FLS approval before implementing any changes to work scope
  • Verify and formally accept completed electrical work

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a closely related electrical maintenance or technician position
  • Relevant technical certification(s) or equivalent professional experience in electrical systems
  • Strong communication and field reporting skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and electrical safety standards
