About the Role

Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the Nigerian healthcare and pharmaceutical industry known for trusted household brands like Vitaclox and Inbu, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer. Based at our ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our plant's electrical and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain High Tension and Low Tension power distribution networks, transformers, Diesel Generator sets, and UPS systems to guarantee uninterrupted power for sensitive production lines.
  • Execute scheduled preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery including tablet presses, blister packing machines, and HVAC systems.
  • Manage electrical operations for essential plant utilities such as boilers, water purification systems, and effluent treatment plants.
  • Ensure all electrical engineering activities strictly comply with pharmaceutical cGMP standards, cleanroom protocols, and local safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready engineering records including single-line diagrams, equipment history cards, and preventive maintenance logs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, B.Eng, B.Tech, or HND in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • 3 to 8 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience within a pharmaceutical formulation or chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting automated production machinery and managing industrial power distribution.
  • Familiarity with top Nigerian pharmaceutical companies and industry regulatory standards is a strong advantage.
