African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML), a key subsidiary of African Industries Group, is seeking a dynamic and career-driven Electrical Engineer – Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our growing engineering team. Key Responsibilities- Assist senior electrical engineers in the daily operation, installation, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Support both preventive and corrective maintenance on transformers, generators, motors, switchgear, and control panels.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify faults, abnormalities, and potential failures.
- Assist in electrical testing, measurements, and basic troubleshooting using standard test instruments.
- Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams under professional supervision.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work procedures.
- Collaborate closely with production, mechanical, instrumentation, and HSE teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates and recent NYSC graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must possess an NYSC completion, discharge, or exemption certificate.
- Strong foundational knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, motors, and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic familiarity with engineering software like AutoCAD Electrical.
