About the Role
Federal University Lafia, a fast-growing institution committed to academic distinction, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in Nutrition and Dietetics. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical training to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Engage in community service and institutional outreach initiatives related to health and nutrition.
- Ph.D. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a closely related field from a recognized institution, with at least 3 years of tertiary teaching experience and 2 published journal articles.
- Alternatively, a Ph.D. with relevant professional registration and 2 published journal articles will be considered.
- Candidates holding a Master's degree must have a minimum of 6 years of teaching experience and 5 journal articles, with at least 3 published.
