Key Responsibilities- Support the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of generators, control panels, AMF/ATS panels, and distribution boards.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults in generator sets, cables, breakers, sensors, and protection systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist Senior Engineers in generator load testing, functional testing, and performance verification.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical systems and generator equipment.
- Prepare accurate technical reports, test results, maintenance records, and project documentation.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved engineering standards and HSE requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Production, Maintenance, and Project teams to resolve technical issues swiftly.
- Hold a minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Possess 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or generator systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety standards.
