About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is hiring a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the maintenance and efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and utilities for our client. In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted production, optimal machine performance, and reliable power distribution across factory and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, machinery, and office appliances.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maximize machine efficiency and respond promptly to electrical issues.
- Support effective and reliable power distribution across the factory and office facilities.
- Participate in the servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of printing machines, including web and sheet-fed models.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities strictly comply with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing or printing press environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, machine power requirements, and electronic components.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to maintenance emergencies.
- Competitive monthly salary of NGN 180,000 to NGN 250,000 based on experience.
