About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a creative, innovative, and results-driven Electrical Engineer to support the maintenance and efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and utilities. In this role, you will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted production, optimal machine performance, and effective power distribution across our factory and office facilities in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, machinery, and office appliances, ensuring timely execution.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maximize machine efficiency and ensure prompt response to electrical maintenance requirements.
- Support effective and reliable power distribution across the factory and office facilities.
- Participate in the servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of printing machines, including web and sheet-fed machines.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Monitor electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with applicable safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Possess 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably within a printing press or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of electrical power systems, machine power requirements, and electronic components.
- Show proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial machinery and printing equipment.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
- Display strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
