About the Role
Mikano International Limited, Nigeria's foremost power solution provider, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing technical team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, installation, and maintenance of our industry-leading diesel and gas generators, driving our mission to deliver superior power solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, commission, and test diesel and gas generators ranging from 20kVA and above.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and prompt corrective repairs.
- Diagnose complex electrical faults in generator systems, control panels, and ATS/AMF systems.
- Conduct thorough load testing, performance checks, and rigorous system inspections.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE guidelines, company policies, and Nigerian electrical standards.
- Provide expert technical support to clients and respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns.
- Collaborate effectively with mechanical engineers and field technicians to ensure operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical experience with diesel generators.
- Strong, demonstrable proficiency in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting control panels.
- Solid understanding of ATS/AMF panels, earthing, load management, and system synchronization.
