Key Responsibilities- Work on generator control panels, AMF/ATS panels, synchronization systems, protection systems, and distribution panels.
- Carry out electrical wiring, termination, cabling, and connection of generating equipment.
- Interpret and work with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Configure and troubleshoot generator controllers, protection relays, meters, sensors, and monitoring systems.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, electrical tests, and load-bank testing on generating sets.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in generators, switchgear, and distribution systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and support major overhauls.
- Possess an OND qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, power systems, or generator maintenance.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for electrical fault resolution.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a technical team.
