About the Role
ADKAN Services Nigeria Limited, a wholly indigenous construction and property development company, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, planning, installation, supervision, and commissioning of electrical systems for our landmark residential, commercial, and large-scale property developments across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review comprehensive electrical designs, load calculations, schematics, and technical documentation for residential and commercial projects.
- Supervise on-site electrical installations, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, safety regulations, and elite quality standards.
- Plan and manage the installation of backup power solutions, including generators, transformers, inverters, and ATS panels.
- Conduct rigorous testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure, cables, earthing systems, and protective devices prior to project handover.
- Collaborate seamlessly with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and execute value engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering within the Nigerian construction or property development sector.
- COREN registration is highly desirable, with active NSE membership serving as an added advantage.
- Proven track record of managing electrical systems for high-rise buildings, housing estates, or commercial developments.
- Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design tools, load calculations, and technical report writing.
