About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure the optimal performance of electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems within our processing operations, driving efficiency and minimizing downtime in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose faulty industrial machinery, control systems, and electrical appliances down to the component level.
- Execute installation and maintenance for high-voltage equipment, control centres, and high-voltage motors.
- Service engine generators and manage associated control circuit equipment efficiently.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), soft starters, pneumatic controls, and programmable logic systems.
- Conduct professional thermographic inspections across electrical distribution panels and motor control systems.
- Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial motor controls, pump drives, generators, and electronic control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot diverse machinery models and resolve complex technical issues.
