About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the Nigerian manufacturing sector renowned for our flagship brand Golden Penny, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Electrical & Automation Manager. In this critical role, you will plan, coordinate, and control all electronics and automation maintenance, installations, and projects to ensure maximum safety, reliability, and power distribution effectiveness at our plant.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the installation and calibration of all electrical systems, process transmitters, and sensors within the plant.
- Design and implement robust preventive and corrective maintenance plans to optimize equipment availability.
- Develop critical instrumentation documentation including logic diagrams, control narratives, and loop diagrams.
- Ensure efficient utilization of labor, materials, and equipment to achieve cost-effective operational excellence.
- Design and execute engineering projects within approved specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering.
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Automation will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of cognate experience in electrical and automation systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory active membership in the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
