About the Role
African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) is a leading player in Nigeria's mining and steel sector, committed to backward integration and sustainable industrial growth. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our expanding operations in Kaduna State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced electrical and automation systems to ensure seamless plant productivity and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, and industrial instrumentation.
- Execute scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all electrical and instrumentation assets.
- Monitor and manage PLC, DCS, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Perform precise calibration and testing of instrumentation devices to guarantee operational accuracy.
- Interpret complex electrical, control, and process engineering drawings.
- Support the seamless installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical machinery.
- Collaborate closely with production and mechanical teams to swiftly resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Enforce strict compliance with company policies and electrical safety regulations.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on E&I maintenance experience within a heavy manufacturing, steel, foundry, or process plant environment.
- Robust technical knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, SCADA, and control systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and fault-diagnosis capabilities.
- Strong familiarity with Nigerian and international electrical safety standards.
