We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Economics Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. This position is ideally suited for qualified educators residing within the Abijo, Awoyaya, and Lekki-Epe axis who are passionate about shaping young minds and fostering lifelong learning through innovative teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and age-appropriate Economics lessons in line with national and international academic standards.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching resources, and learning activities focused on inquiry-based learning.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and styles of all students.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and independent learning within the classroom.
- Integrate appropriate educational technology and instructional resources to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain high standards of student behavior in a positive and inclusive environment.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree or professional teaching certification is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience teaching Economics in a reputable secondary school.
- Thorough understanding of both Nigerian and international secondary school curricula.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Must reside within the Abijo, Awoyaya, Lekki-Epe environs for ease of commute.
