Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and age-appropriate Economics lessons in line with national and international academic standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching resources, and learning activities focused on inquiry-based learning.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and styles of all students.
  • Promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and independent learning within the classroom.
  • Integrate appropriate educational technology and instructional resources to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
  • Ensure effective classroom management and maintain high standards of student behavior in a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree or professional teaching certification is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience teaching Economics in a reputable secondary school.
  • Thorough understanding of both Nigerian and international secondary school curricula.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Must reside within the Abijo, Awoyaya, Lekki-Epe environs for ease of commute.
