Key Responsibilities- Teach Economics to Junior and Senior Secondary School students within an integrated curriculum framework.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, schemes of work, and innovative instructional materials.
- Deliver engaging, interactive classroom lessons that promote critical thinking and financial literacy.
- Assess, record, and evaluate student academic performance regularly through constructive feedback.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations including WAEC and NECO.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and continuous professional development programmes.
- Communicate effectively with school management and parents regarding student progress and development.
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Education (Economics), or a recognized related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
- Strong, practical knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methods and educational technology integration.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is an added advantage.
