About the Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds by delivering engaging instruction, fostering critical thinking, and guiding students toward academic excellence in Economics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive and engaging Economics lessons in alignment with the approved secondary school curriculum.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for local and international examinations through targeted revision, mock exams, and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school management to enhance the overall academic standard and extracurricular offerings of the college.

Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (NCE or Master's degree is an added advantage).
  • Demonstrated teaching experience with a strong track record of student success in examinations.
  • In-depth and sound knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Economics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Residing within Ogba, Agege, Ikeja, or immediate environs will be considered a significant advantage.
