About the Role
KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Economics Teacher to join our mission of providing quality secondary education to children from the poorest households and underserved communities. We are committed to breaking the cycle of generational poverty by enabling students, particularly girls, to access transformative education that opens pathways to further learning and sustainable livelihoods.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive Economics lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans that foster critical thinking and practical application of economic concepts
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners and encourages participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
- Integrate technology-enhanced teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student holistic development and well-being
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (B.Sc./B.A.) with PGDE or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of secondary school teaching experience (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum framework
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology into teaching practice
