About the Role
Rupetta Academy is a leading modern and efficient online learning platform designed with the African region in mind to remove all barriers to a successful learning experience. We are currently looking for a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team in Abuja on a full-time, permanent basis, with clear pathways to a Lead Teacher role for exceptional educators.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, EYFS-aligned learning experiences for children aged 1 to 5 focusing on Literacy, Numeracy, Communication, and Language.
- Deliver Jolly Phonics with confidence, creativity, and proven effectiveness.
- Implement Nelson or Twinkl handwriting programmes with precision to build foundational motor skills.
- Maintain meticulous developmental records and communicate milestones effectively with parents.
- Uphold Rupetta Academy standards of hygiene, safety, and holistic emotional care at all times.
- Contribute actively to a vibrant school culture rooted in integrity, fairness, and mutual respect.
- Currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
- Hold an NCE or a degree in Education (B.Ed, B.Sc Education, or PGDE).
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience teaching early years children aged 1 to 5.
- Valid TRCN certificate is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in Jolly Phonics and working knowledge of the British EYFS framework.
- Familiarity with Nelson or Twinkl handwriting schemes.
