About the Role
Zigma Limited is looking for a skilled E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator to join our dynamic Project Portfolio Management team in Nigeria. In this role, you will setup and administer AVEVA 3D databases, develop optimization workflows, and maintain accurate 3D plant models for critical oil and gas projects, supporting our mission to become Africa's leading petroleum and petrochemical company.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and administer AVEVA 3D databases for the Project Portfolio Management organization and develop system optimization workflows.
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D plant models using AVEVA E3D based on approved engineering drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Interpret engineering deliverables including P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications, and line lists to translate them into precise 3D models.
- Carry out model reviews, clash detection, and design checks to identify spatial conflicts and constructability concerns prior to fabrication.
- Maintain proper model hierarchy, naming conventions, attributes, and database integrity in accordance with project standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, design, and information management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting; a B.Eng. or B.Tech is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and administration within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and point cloud processing workflows.
- Familiarity with AVEVA E3D modules including Draw, Iso-draft, Paragon, Administration, and Lexicon.
- Proven ability to setup MDS (multidisciplinary support systems) and manage databases effectively.
- Strong understanding of plant design, constructability, operability, and multidisciplinary coordination in a projectized EPC environment.
