About the Role
Adkan Services Nigeria Limited, a wholly indigenous and patriotic construction leader in Nigeria, is seeking a competent, results-driven Structural and Civil Engineer to join our dynamic project development team. In this pivotal role, you will champion structural design, civil engineering works, construction supervision, and rigorous quality control across our high-rise buildings, residential estates, and multi-unit developments.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and supervise structural designs for high-rise buildings, terraces, duplexes, and commercial developments using advanced engineering software.
- Supervise on-site civil and structural works, ensuring strict compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate comprehensive civil infrastructure activities for estate development projects, including access roads, drainage systems, and earthworks.
- Collaborate seamlessly with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, and contractors to prevent clashes and resolve technical issues.
- Implement stringent quality assurance and quality control procedures, monitoring concrete testing, material quality, and construction methods.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 8 to 15 years of substantial professional experience in structural and civil engineering within the building construction sector.
- Proven hands-on portfolio in high-rise buildings, multi-unit residential developments, and large-scale estate infrastructure.
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.Pro.
- Active professional registration with COREN or immediate eligibility for registration.
