Key Responsibilities- Operate and navigate official Nigerian Navy vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automotive and mechanical systems.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with transport and logistics units to support strategic deployments and administrative duties.
- Adhere strictly to naval safety protocols and security standards at all times.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits, including English Language.
- Current mechanic apprenticeship certificate for mechanic applicants.
- Proven driving experience with a valid commercial driver's license.
- Official letter of recommendation as a driver or mechanic from a past or present employer.
- Recommendation letter from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will be an added advantage.
- Must be a Nigerian citizen of good character and physical fitness.
