About the Role
FABOTAS College of Health Sciences and Technology (FCHST), a leading private health institution located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is seeking a professional and safety-conscious Driver to join our dedicated support team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our college by ensuring the safe transportation of staff, students, and institutional materials while maintaining our vehicles in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, students, and authorized personnel to designated destinations within and outside Ekiti State.
- Ensure routine maintenance of assigned vehicles, including checking oil, water, battery, and tyre pressure regularly.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults or required repairs to management.
- Maintain clean interior and exterior conditions of the college vehicles at all times.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, safety regulations, and institutional policies.
- Keep accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Perform other related errands and duties as assigned by the college administration.
- Minimum of SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Must possess a valid and current Nigerian Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional driving experience, preferably within an educational or corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of Ekiti State roads and major transportation routes across Nigeria.
- Excellent defensive driving skills, punctuality, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
