About the Role
Dicalo Consulting Group, a premier management consulting firm specializing in business setup, advisory, and financial services, is seeking an experienced, reliable, and disciplined Driver. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations by providing safe, timely, and efficient driving services across Lagos and its environs. We are looking for a professional who prioritizes safety, exhibits exceptional time management, and maintains the highest standards of integrity on the road.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company staff and authorized personnel to designated destinations across the Lagos Mainland and Island.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of Lagos routes, traffic patterns, and alternative roads to ensure prompt arrival times.
- Perform daily routine vehicle checks, including monitoring oil, fuel levels, tire pressure, and braking systems.
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, well-maintained, and optimal working condition at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption.
- Execute official errands and provide necessary logistical support to the administrative team as requested.
- Ensure the absolute safety of passengers, vehicle contents, and the automobile during transit.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND educational qualification.
- Must possess a valid and current Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record free of major traffic offences.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience navigating the complex terrain of Lagos.
- Exceptional familiarity with both Mainland and Island routes, supplemented by proficiency in using GPS tools like Google Maps.
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated qualities of high discipline, punctuality, honesty, trustworthiness, and professional discretion.
- Must be physically fit, possess good eyesight, and reside within Lagos.
