About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a responsible, experienced, and dedicated Dispatch Rider to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, samples, and packages to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery and proper motorcycle maintenance. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates exceptional road safety habits, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to punctuality.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport and deliver goods, packages, and samples to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Plan efficient delivery routes utilizing GPS and navigation applications to avoid traffic delays.
- Strictly adhere to traffic laws, company safety regulations, and assigned schedules.
- Load and unload items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct routine motorcycle inspections, keeping the vehicle fueled, clean, and in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service during all client interactions.
- Comply with company quality and safety policies, immediately reporting any identified hazards.
- Assist with general office pickups and other logistics-related duties as assigned.
- Possession of a valid rider's license and relevant certification.
- Proven professional experience working as a Dispatch Rider or in a similar logistics role.
- Extensive knowledge of local routes, roads, and traffic patterns within the area of operation.
- Proficiency in using GPS and mapping applications on mobile devices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
