About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a professional and reliable Driver to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by providing safe, efficient, and dependable transportation services for our staff, goods, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, materials, and company assets to designated locations according to schedule.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
- Monitor fuel levels, oil, tire pressure, and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and avoid traffic delays.
- Represent the company professionally, maintaining confidentiality and courteous conduct at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification.
- Must possess a valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional driving experience of 2 to 5 years.
- Extensive knowledge of local roads, major highways, and traffic navigation apps.
- Basic understanding of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and physical fitness for long-distance driving.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends when necessary.
